Today, housing is chosen not only by area or location. What matters is what daily life will feel like: whether it is comfortable to relax here, how thoughtfully the space is designed, whether you feel safe and whether the environment really works for you. That is why, when creating the Brother residential complex in Kyiv, we built in not just buildings but a complete logic of living — from the engineering foundation to scenarios for everyday use of the territory.
Brother is a comfort-class residential complex in the Darnytskyi district of the capital. Its architecture is built on a combination of sections of different heights — 9, 17 and 25 floors — and an important element of the quarter will be a pedestrian promenade with cafés, relaxation areas and meeting places.

Today we are actively building the first phase of the complex. Work is proceeding in parallel in several sections: in some, waterproofing has already been completed and the foundation poured; in others, the technical floor frame is taking shape; in still others, work continues at plinth level. A tower crane is already operating on the site and another is being assembled to keep up the pace of construction on all sections simultaneously.
Behind every visible construction stage stands extensive preparation work by a team of specialists. One of the key stages is engineering preparation. This is where the reliability of the future building is established: research, calculations, analysis of the geological and hydrological features of the site, and decisions about foundations and loads. All of this directly affects the quality and durability of the housing.
Equally important to us is safety. At Brother, shelters were planned as early as the design stage. They are included in every construction phase and meet state standards. Such rooms are equipped with the necessary engineering networks, and their structures are reinforced to ensure an appropriate level of protection. Today this is no longer an additional advantage but a basic component of a modern residential project.
Special attention at Brother is paid to the space where people live every day. For us it was important to think through not only the buildings but also the environment between them. That is why a playground appears in the project — a shared space for children and adults where you can relax, move around, spend time together and, simply, leave home more often not "on business" but for yourself.
At Brother, we view everyday life as a set of natural scenarios: a morning coffee, a walk in the courtyard, a workout near home, a casual encounter with neighbors, time with a child within the complex. To make this possible, the quarter includes sports grounds, TRX zones, bike paths, relaxation areas and a pedestrian promenade that connects different functional zones into a single living system.

All of this is part of the Riel Family Style approach we are bringing into the project. It is about housing where not only layouts and façades are thought through, but the very way residents live. When the space around helps rather than complicates. When the courtyard becomes a place of interaction, and infrastructure — a part of daily comfort.
We are creating Brother as a quarter where it is convenient to live every day — with thoughtful engineering, safety, active construction and an environment you want to be in.
