Music and construction have much in common — both are built on rhythm, structure, balance, and precision. In each, harmony arises from people who listen to one another. These very feelings — movement, unity, and inspiration — became the foundation of the Symphony of Construction, a collaborative video project by Ukrainian composer and pianist Yevhen Khmara and developer RIEL.
The Symphony of Construction has become a metaphor for the process of creating space — from the initial idea and the first rhythms on the construction site to the moment when the project comes to life.

‘In every one of our projects, we strive to find harmony between form and meaning, between rhythm and soul. And today, that harmony has found its voice,’ said Borys Tsomaia, Marketing Director at RIEL. ‘Construction is much more than a technical process — it is an art form, where every specialist is like a musician in a grand orchestra. Only when everyone plays in harmony does a home come to life.’

In the video, the music conveys the living energy of coordinated teamwork, where every movement and every sound is part of a greater shared creation.
‘Music and construction are very much alike. They both have rhythm, tempo, harmony, and inspiration. Everything must sound sincere — otherwise, there can be no integrity,’ said Yevhen Khmara.

The evening took place at GHOST in Kyiv and brought together the developer’s partners, representatives of the creative industry, and influencers. Guests also took part in a charity lottery, with all proceeds to be donated to support the Ukrainian military.

During the premiere, the composer performed the piece live, while the visuals combined real footage from RIEL construction sites with artistic symbols — light, motion, and space.
