Lighting the bonfire is not just a tradition for the soldiers of the Svoboda (‘Freedom’) Battalion of the 4th Brigade Rubizh of the National Guard of Ukraine. It is a moment of unity and strength when they gather around the fire to honour their fallen comrades and maintain their fighting spirit.
We were honoured to be there at this important moment. For us, helping the front line is not a one-off event, but a conscious principle. We have been supporting the battalion for a long time and systematically, and this visit is another step in our common goal.

Rostyslav Melnyk, CEO of RIEL, personally addressed the military with words of gratitude and support. We are convinced that together we will achieve victory. And for the sake of those who have already given their lives for it.
The Svoboda (‘Freedom’) Battalion is a combat unit of the 4th Operational Brigade Rubizh of the National Guard of Ukraine. Formed at the beginning of the full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war from volunteers of the All-Ukrainian Union Svoboda (‘Freedom’), the battalion distinguished itself in the defence of Kyiv, in battles in Donbas — from Rubizhne to Bakhmut — and has been holding the Siverskyi direction, one of the key areas in northern Donetsk Region, for over two years.
