RIEL Joins Initiative to Cooperate with FIABCI International

August 10, 2026

RIEL has joined the initiative group established to create the Lviv Construction Cluster, one of whose key areas of activity will be international cooperation with FIABCI International, a global real estate organisation with a presence in more than 40 countries worldwide.

The initiative to establish the Construction Cluster was discussed at a meeting between city authorities and representatives of more than 30 property developers. Following the meeting, an initiative group comprising representatives of the property development sector and the city was formed, with RIEL among its members. The group will work on developing the concept for the future association and establishing its legal framework.

The city has already reached a partnership agreement with FIABCI International, headquartered in Paris. For Lviv developers, this opens up opportunities to exchange expertise, explore international best practices and new technologies, and develop partnerships with international property development and architectural teams.

For RIEL, participation in this initiative is an opportunity to contribute to establishing common standards for the development of Lviv’s property sector and to strengthen professional dialogue between businesses, the city authorities and the international community.

The meeting also recognised the contribution made by property developers to the development of educational infrastructure. Ahead of Construction Workers’ Day, Lviv Mayor Andrii Sadovyi presented RIEL founder Rostyslav Melnyk with a certificate of appreciation from the Lviv community.

RIEL received the recognition for its contribution to the development of Lviv’s educational infrastructure and the construction of a new municipal primary school in the Levandivka neighbourhood. The educational facility, with a total area of more than 5,200 sq m, is now nearing completion and is expected to welcome its first pupils next year. The school is being built as part of the Riel City residential community, close to the Morning and Evening residential developments. The two-storey building will feature modern classrooms, an assembly hall, a canteen, a children’s swimming pool, recreational areas and an underground shelter where, if necessary, lessons can continue safely. The award recognises the developer’s contribution to the development of the city’s educational infrastructure.
