As part of the Square for a Donation 3.0 charity initiative organized by RIEL Real Estate Corporation and LUN, an apartment in the newly built Bereh Dnipra Residential Complex (Kyiv) was raffled off in a live broadcast. The purpose of the fundraiser was to purchase M113 armored personnel carriers for the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Despite the planned amount of UAH 15,000,000, almost UAH 16,000,000 were raised.

The owner of the new apartment became Viktoriia, who donated UAH 1,500. At the time of the announcement, she was in the Netherlands, so she received the news of her win live via video link. The show presenter Yevhen Yanovych congratulated Viktoriia.

Rostyslav Melnyk, CEO of RIEL Real Estate Corporation, said during the live broadcast that it was not the first time the company engaged in fundraising:
“We have already raffled off apartments in support of the Svoboda Battalion and for the Come Back Alive Foundation, which purchased ground control stations for unmanned aerial vehicles for the defenders. And now – for the 3rd Assault Brigade. Why are we doing this? Because we have to help. Despite the political vicissitudes of our allies, we are fighting and holding on thanks to volunteers. Volunteers mostly supply the UAVs that have changed the tide of the war. That is why we will continue to support our defenders.”

According to a representative of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade with the call sign “GATS”, the military are actively using M113 armored personnel carriers at the front line. Thanks to this fundraising, they will be able to significantly replenish their armored fleet.

As a token of gratitude to the three largest donors, the brigade presents military trophies: Dmytro, who donated UAH 114,000, receives a tube from an artillery shell. Ivan, who donated UAH 53,000, receives zinc from a Mk-19 grenade launcher. Anton, who contributed UAH 50,000, receives zinc from a Browning machine gun.
So, another apartment has become a weapon in the fight for freedom. And this is another proof that together we can do more.
