Real Estate Corporation RIEL plans to launch six new projects in Kyiv and five more in Lviv in 2024 – Rostyslav Melnyk

March 08, 2024

Currently, the company sells about two thousand square meters in the capital and four thousand square meters in Lviv per month. This was stated by Rostyslav Melnyk, CEO of Real Estate Corporation RIEL, in an interview with the LIGA business portal.

“Today we sell about two thousand square meters of housing per month in Kyiv and four thousand in Lviv. We are planning to enhance this process, as we have commissioned many facilities and are working with the remaining stock. Therefore, the supply is less than needed, but it will increase in the summer.”

As Rostyslav Melnyk shared in an interview with the LIGA business portal, Ukrainian developers are waiting for the real estate market to stabilize in general and are completing existing projects.

“In general, in Lviv, as well as in Kyiv, developers have not started many new projects in two years. Mostly they complete existing ones, start new stages, and work on permits to start when the market stabilizes,” explained Rostyslav Melnyk, “During the war, we launched one project in Kyiv, and this year we are planning six more. In Lviv, we have two projects and plan to start five more. We are currently in the process of negotiating two projects in Kyiv with Bosphorus Development.”

As a reminder, shortly before, Rostyslav Melnyk noted that the new construction codes had improved the conditions for purchasing real estate.
