UAH 52 Million for the Defence Forces of Ukraine: Results of the HAPPY OPTORIZ Fundraising Campaign

January 26, 2026

The HAPPY OPTORIZ charitable fundraising campaign organised by the Sternenko Community Charitable Foundation has been successfully completed. A total of UAH 52,195,097 was raised, exceeding the initial target. These funds were used to purchase 1,357 fibre-optic FPV drones, which will soon be transferred to the Defence Forces of Ukraine to enhance their combat capabilities.

To support the initiative, we contributed an apartment in the business-class Nordica Residence residential complex, located in Kyiv’s Pechersk district. The apartment was raffled among campaign participants who made a charitable donation of UAH 300 or more.

The winner of the draw was Oleksandr D., who donated UAH 600 on 16 January. The winner has already been determined, and the transfer of the apartment will take place in the near future.

We are grateful to everyone who joined the initiative — those who donated, shared information, and supported the campaign. It is thanks to these joint efforts that the Defence Forces of Ukraine will receive additional modern technical support.

For RIEL, participation in charitable initiatives is a conscious choice and an integral part of responsible approach to doing business. We consistently support projects aimed at strengthening the country’s defence capabilities and continue to act alongside those who defend Ukraine.

We would like to recall that in the summer of 2025, with the support of RIEL, a large-scale charitable campaign titled Total Rusoriz, initiated by the Sternenko Community Charitable Foundation, was carried out. At that time, UAH 100 million was raised and directed towards the purchase of 555 Shahed interceptor drones and 1,660 other drones for the needs of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.

That same summer, RIEL also joined another joint fundraising campaign together with monobank and the Sternenko Community Charitable Foundation. The campaign to raise funds for FPV drones concluded with a total of UAH 86 million, which is nearly UAH 16 million more than the initial target.
