The past year has been difficult for everyone. However, it has been rich not only in sad and disturbing events, but also in bright moments, grand discoveries, and scientific sensations.
It marked the start of large ambitious projects and gave rise to unique initiatives in many areas. It united humanity not only through adversity, but also through a shared hope for a better future.
It is worth noting that 2020 was also a landmark year for us, the RIEL Real Estate Corporation. We have compiled a calendar of the most notable and important events.
January-February: 800,000 m2 under construction and for sale
Several dozen residential complexes are under active construction by the company in both Lviv and the capital. The total area of real estate under construction exceeds 800,000 m2. There are brisk sales of housing in 16 residential complexes from the RIEL Real Estate Corporation. Demand is further stimulated by the unstable dollar exchange rate, which is trending upward during this period.
March-May: the lockdown challenge
The pandemic has brought the construction industry to a standstill not only in Ukraine but around the world. In Ukraine, one in four construction sites has been shut down permanently or temporarily. However, the management of RIEL Real Estate Corporation has decided to continue work and not to halt any of its projects. RIEL President Rostislav Melnyk urges developers not to curtail their activities in order to keep the market afloat and assures that all construction sites under the RIEL brand will continue to operate. After all, Ukrainians are in dire need of housing.
Work continues uninterrupted even during the most difficult period. At the same time, RIEL sites comply with the strictest sanitary and epidemiological requirements. Sales departments are switching to online mode, providing consultations using modern means of communication. Moreover, potential buyers have the opportunity not only to communicate with managers online, but also to visit construction sites and even get acquainted with their future homes through virtual tours. The digitization of all work organization processes, which the Corporation has been focusing on for several years in a row, is playing a key role during this period.
June-August: record sales
As soon as the strict quarantine was lifted, the sales departments of almost all RIEL residential complexes were filled with buyers who, during the period of forced isolation, had come to understand the value of their own homes and made a firm decision to purchase a specific apartment.
The unprecedented demand for housing during the traditional vacation period has allowed sales plans to be exceeded already in the summer. Sales continue at a brisk pace to this day.
“Every half hour, customers come to the sales departments. Every hour, an apartment is reserved. Every day, contracts are signed,” says Rostislav Melnyk, head of the RIEL Real Estate Corporation.
September: start of sales in the residential complex “Mistechko Pidzamche”
RIEL announces its unique project in Lviv. The Mistechko Pidzamche residential complex, located in close proximity to the center of Lviv, consists of three residential complexes: Brama, Vezha, and Novy Fort, which combine the past, present, and future. This is an unprecedented project in the history of domestic housing construction. The developer is not only committed to building housing, but also to reviving and renovating the historic area where Mistechko Pidzamche is located.
October: sales launch at Nordica Residence
Sales are beginning in Kyiv for the most ambitious capital project of the year from RIEL Real Estate Corporation. The RIEL Real Estate Corporation develops and offers its clients an interactive marketplace, with the help of which visitors can easily and simply choose the apartment they are interested in from thousands of options in dozens of residential complexes in Kyiv and Lviv. All relevant and accurate information about each property is collected in one place. Using various filters, you can choose your apartment according to any parameters: city, residential complex, floor, square footage, price, completion date, etc. You can even calculate the monthly payment if the apartment is being purchased on an installment plan.
December: Sensational housing loan from RIEL
