KN REEL signed a Memorandum for participation in the “eVidnovlennia” program, which was presented by the Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine. Thus, the company confirmed its intention to work side by side with the state to provide Ukrainians affected by Russian aggression with high-quality and comfortable accommodation.
“From now on, we will be able to accept real estate certificates as payment for square meters, which citizens will receive from the state as compensation for destroyed housing,” Rostyslav Melnyk, General Director of REC RIEL, explains the mechanism of the program.
“eVidnovlennia” program is compensation to Ukrainians for their completely destroyed or damaged homes due to hostilities. It was launched in Ukraine on May 10, 2023. At first, you could receive a maximum of UAH 200,000 and spend it exclusively on construction materials or services of contractors who are participants in the program. Since August 1, the program has been expanded, and as compensation, a real estate certificate is offered, which can be invested in future real estate, or purchased an apartment or house on the primary or secondary market without regional restrictions.
Important: the legal and beneficial owners of the property that:
- destroyed due to hostilities after February 24;
- cannot be restored;
- located in unoccupied territory and out of an active combat zone;
- has the title of ownership for it in the Public Register of Titles.
In order to take advantage of this initiative, you need to submit an information statement about damaged and destroyed real property, if you have not already submitted it. Then apply for compensation using the “eVidnovlennia” service in “Diia” application.
According to officials, as of mid-November 2023, 519 property certificates have already been issued for a total amount of UAH 1.1 billion. The average amount of a certificate is UAH 2.121 million. Program participants can spend these funds only on purchasing a home, and this can be an apartment in any city in Ukraine.
