RIEL REC took part in the largest investment and real estate exhibition in Europe

According to RIEL REC General Director Rostyslav Melnyk, “EXPO Real is actually a platform where developers, investment companies, bankers, insurance companies meet, that is, groups of Europe-based companies that closely communicate with each other and implement development projects. On such sites, developers make their offers and agree on cooperation with investment companies, partnerships with other developers or insurance companies, that is, with participants in all development business processes.”

This year, Ukraine participated in this event for the first time. More of that, it’s emblematic that the Ukrainian stand was placed where representatives of Russia used to be placed.

“Consulting companies from Ukraine, developers, and law firms were presented there. As for us, we implemented productive meetings with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and potential German investors interested in investments,” Rostyslav Melnyk says.

In his opinion, due to the fact that inflation in the West is around 10%, and, for example, German investment companies worked for a yield of 3-4%, today they are actively seek out new markets, and the Ukrainian one is promising for them.

“We, RIEL, talked about our company a lot at the exhibition. Presentations of the company, our existing and future projects had been prepared; we showed our past year financial statements. We have demonstrated to the Europeans that they can earn money with us. And now we continue to negotiate with them,” Melnyk says.

The exhibition lasted three days. The event was full of meetings, conversations and expert panels. It should be noted that the exhibition was attended by potential investors into the Ukrainian economy from Austria, Germany, England, and France.
